Clinical Leadership & Workforce Development Model

Future Matters Foundation combines licensed clinical leadership with graduate-level internship training to expand access to quality mental health care while preparing the next generation of mental health professionals.

All clinical services are provided under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals who ensure ethical practice, quality assurance, client safety, and compliance with university training requirements and professional standards.

Through partnerships with graduate mental health programs, master’s-level mental health interns complete supervised practicum and/or internship experiences that provide hands-on clinical training and prepare them for professional licensure. This model increases access to mental health services for underserved communities while strengthening the mental health workforce by developing skilled, ethical, and compassionate future clinicians.
