Mental Health Care Without Financial Barriers

About Future Matters Foundation

Future Matters Foundation (FMF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to quality mental health care for individuals who are uninsured or underserved across North Carolina and South Carolina.

We provide no-cost counseling through secure telehealth and limited in-person services, helping remove financial and geographic barriers to behavioral health care.

Beyond direct services, we invests in the future of mental health by training master level mental health interns under the supervision of licensed clinicians. This hands-on clinical experience prepares emerging professionals to provide ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based care in their communities.

By combining direct client services with workforce development, we addresses two critical community needs: increasing access to mental health care today while strengthening the mental health workforce for tomorrow.

Accessible Mental Health Care. Workforce Training. Community Impact.
