Pro bono refers to work undertaken without charge, especially for clients with low income. While often associated with legal services, it is also commonly used in the medical field to describe professional services provided for charity or at a reduced fee.

At Future Matters Foundation, we pair master's level interns with underserved individuals and families, enabling us to serve:

Individuals without insurance.

Those who do not qualify for public insurance (Medicaid or Medicare).

Those who cannot afford private insurance.
Clinical Training
We offer internship opportunities to master's level students in mental health counseling from universities, allowing them to complete their practicum and internship hours.

Each intern will be supervised by licensed professional therapists and will have flexible schedules to accommodate the needs and availability of patients. All interns will undergo an interview process to ensure a good fit.
